Intercontinental travel is hard for most people, but for me it is not so hard. In the past I have have lived in Vietnam, Singapore, Jakarta, ans Houston. I have been on a plane for as long as twenty eight hours. I was born in Katy,TX but I have only lived there for three and a half years I have lived overseas for eight years. moving to Kuala Lumpur I had to say goodbye to my best friends that I had known for seven years, I won't get to see my pets for ten more days, and I don't get my stuff for three more weeks. The good part is that I can meet new friends, and I don't have to deal with the bad plumbing in my house in Houston, or the loud and annoying neighbors.

Great introduction. You had a good first line (where did you get that idea?!?), and have a nice posting. I have several friends who are from Katy. Hope you have a good transition to ISKL.
